**BUYER (MRO / INDIRECT / CONSUMABLES)**

**BASED HYBRID FROM HOME AND INVERKEITHING SALARY TO £30,000 DOE**

Employing over 180 people, IGS is now in full scale up mode with an ambitious and aggressive recruitment plan to help fuel their commercial growth. Due to massive commercial growth and customer on-boarding we now need to recruit a highly experienced Buyer for all our MRO / Indirect commodities and spend.

Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, the Buyer will be responsible for procuring a varied range of goods and services across indirect categories (Maintenance, Repairs and Operations) - ensuring the smooth running of the facilities in Inverkeithing and Dundee. Working with key stakeholders across the Business, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities for cost efficiencies where possible to support continuous improvement and best for value for money and ensure continuity of supply. Key categories include but not limited to - Branded Clothing and Goods, Seeds and Fertilizers, Engineering and Farm equipment, IT equipment. Main responsibilities include:

- Supplier Interaction.
- Sourcing and Order placement of specified items.
- Maintain Supplier Records.
- Open Purchase Order Monitoring - Progress delivery of orders - expediting as required, maintaining accurate delivery dates.
- Liaise with the Accounts group with regard to Purchase Approval Process and also ensure invoices match purchase orders.
- Contribute to the maintenance of systems for security and confidentiality.
- Create and Maintain appropriate professional relationships internally and externally.
