**School Cook Required - Lancing, West Sussex - Part-time (Monday - Wednesday & Friday, 9:30 - 14:30) - Start As Soon As Available, Notice Period Considered.**

Pink Tile Education are recruiting a school for our client, a fantastic, forward-thinking & ambitious special school in Lancing. The pupil community of up to 27 pupils is diverse & spans KS3 to KS5, with mostly secondary pupils. You will support the team in providing an opportunity for these young people to re-engage and enjoy the core curriculum, as well as other activities. The school boast an incredible education programme personalised for the students with a focus on creative arts & healthy living, along with vocational/work place skills & social/communication support.

**£55 per day, term time only (excluding inset days, bank holidays)**

**Requirements**:

- Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willing to obtain one (we can help you to obtain one before your start date)
- Able to deliver a great kitchen service for the school
- Happy working with children & young people in SEN
- Reliable, friendly and a team player, with great time keeping and an eye for detail
- A leading example of food hygiene and able to adapt lunches to dietary needs
- Experience working with children & young people in SEN not essential but would be ideal in this setting

**Responsibilities**
- Cook and serve up to 27 pupils
- Follow the school menu and efficiently and accurately fulfil the young people's dietary needs
- Maintain a hygienic workspace with a stern discipline
