Duct Fitter/ HVAC Installation Technician

Purpose of the job

The HVAC Installation Technician is required to carry out all installation tasks as per the scope of work. This includes performing all tasks allocated by the HVAC Working Supervisor in a professional manner in line with the site Safety culture.

Skills, Understanding and Knowledge

Essential:

- NVQ Apprenticeship in relevant discipline (HVAC / SMW / Mechanical etc.)

Preferred
- Demonstrable Communication and Interpersonal Skills
- Construction Skills Certification Scheme (Blue Card - Skilled Worker)
- Demonstrable air flow checks experience
- SC/DV Security Clearance

Useful
- Demonstrable HVAC equipment performance testing and balancing experience
- Demonstrable HVAC system mechanical completion & commissioning experience

Training Requirements

As part of the on boarding process the HVAC Installation Technician must complete the following pre-requisite training and security clearance prior to mobilisation to site:

- Construction Skills Certification Scheme Blue Card
- NSAN Triple Bar Existing Sites (TBES)
- Core HSEQ Training
- PPE Face fit and Eye fit checks
