You would be supported with a comprehensive preceptorship package in assisting with the transition to band 4 within the organisation. We want you to be willing to develop your knowledge, skills and experience to enhance our nursing workforce across the Trust. We have opportunities in a number of different in-patient areas.

The nursing associate has a breadth of knowledge across the lifespan and across the fields of nursing, providing holistic and person-centred care and support for children and young people in an acute ward environment. The nursing associate works independently under the leadership of registered nurses, working within the sphere of nursing and care and within all aspects of the nursing process.

Nursing associates are equipped with the knowledge, understanding, skills, attitudes and behaviors relevant to employment as a nursing associate and will work to a nationally recognised code of conduct.

**The successful applicant will**:
Have excellent organisational skills and be able to work well under pressure

Be a team player and demonstrate a flexible, adaptable approach, ability to exercise good judgment

Can demonstrate previous experience working with children within any settings.

Have experience of using IT systems
