Do you have experience in Credit Control with good customer services skills? We’re looking for an ambitious credit controller to join our credit management team at our Head office based in Colwick, Nottingham. This is a hybrid role, with three days in the office and two working from home.

Hillarys is part of the Hunter Douglas group of companies, and this role is specifically for our trade division brands: Arena and Custom West. As a Trade Credit Controller, you will play a key role in ensuring the credit control function operates smoothly. This role is varied, however, is mainly dedicated to ensuring efficient and timely cash collection, using effective collection methods. You will be allocated a ledger of customers to manage, while following all established credit control policies and procedures. You will establish appropriate account opening procedures to ensure all trade is conducted with fully verified partners and within appropriate credit limits, monitoring and releasing held orders that aligns with credit policy. You’ll be an excellent communicator, utilising this skill to provide a professional, positive experience to our customers.

**Other responsibilities include**:

- Monitoring trade account performance and working closely with Trade Sales Managers to manage debts effectively.
- Ensuring the correct allocation of cash collections at all times.
- Addressing any credit control queries raised, ensuring these are dealt with effectively.
