**Responsibilities**:

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the materials and processes required.
- Measure and mark dimensions and reference points on materials using precision measuring instruments.
- Cut, trim, and shape plastic materials using hand tools, power tools, or machinery.
- Operate equipment such as saws, routers, and heat guns to fabricate plastic components.
- Assemble and join plastic parts using techniques such as solvent bonding, heat sealing, and mechanical fastening.
- Inspect fabricated parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Troubleshoot issues with fabrication equipment and perform routine maintenance as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, following safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
- Collaborate with other team members to optimise production processes and improve efficiency.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, quality, and environmental regulations.

**Qualifications**:

- GSCE, BTEC equivalent; vocational training or certification in plastic fabrication is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Plastic Fabricator or similar role, with expertise in cutting and shaping plastic materials.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of different types of plastics, their properties, and suitable fabrication techniques.
- Familiarity with a variety of hand and power tools used in plastic fabrication.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

Pay: £11.00-£15.00 per hour

- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- MIG welding: 2 years (preferred)
- Fabrication: 2 years (required)
