**Test Manager (Workday - Finance)**

**6 Months**

This role may involve overseeing a team of dedicated testers and working with other Test Leads responsible for other associated solutions serving other areas of the business that could be affected by the implementation of the new Finance solution.

The Test Lead may also undertake all functional testing roles from strategy to tester, producing and running test scripts, documenting results and ensuring defect resolution.

**Responsibilities**:

- Act as the single point of contact for the Finance programme testing activities including;
- Take responsibility for the Programme Testing Workstream working alongside a Technical Project Manager to schedule and execute all testing activities.
- Review and completion of a comprehensive test strategy & approach.
- Formulation and delivery of associated test plans as appropriate to cover Business and/or Technology testing of the new Finance solution.
- Manage the programme test environments and ensure they are representative of production.
- Definition and execution of test scenarios & scripts to assure the new Finance solution passes thorough Unit, Integration, End-to-End, UAT and Regression testing (including automation if possible) to minimise implementation risks, assure deployment andenable reliable customer satisfaction.
- Manage defects through to resolution via multiple test cycles.
- Provide advice on testing to other colleagues in the Finance Programme Team and assist where needed including ensuring 3rd party suppliers are providing an adequate level of testing and support.
- Investigate the use of automated tooling where applicable.
