**Job Title**: Finance Administrator

**Location**: Pudsey

**Reports to**:Finance Manager.

**Salary**:(£23,500) pa

**Transport**: Own Transport to the office.

**Electronics**:Laptop provided

**JOB PURPOSE**

Working in a small team supporting the Finance manager.

Responsibilities will include processing invoices, reconcile accounts, dealing with suppliers, filing & general administrative support as required.

To understand and ensure company compliance with appropriate financial regulations and legislation, including data protection.

**PRIMARY DUTIES & AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY**

**Finance duties**:
The post requires the post holder to assist with the following:

- Import Sales invoice from BigChange into Xero. Reviewing Nominal and VAT Codes to ensure correct allocation.
- Reconcile Xero Sales Invoicing Balance to BigChange.
- Processing Purchase Ledger Invoices
- Matching with PO and Delivery Notes on BigChange.
- Entering Invoices on Xero
- Liaise with suppliers and other parties to resolve any invoicing issues.
- Verify supplier accounts by reconciling statements and related transactions.
- Posting Supplier payments and sending Remittance Advices.
- Reconciling Company Credit Card Statements and Posting transactions onto Xero
- Prepare Monthly Wages Spreadsheet for Engineers
- Any other finance/administration duties as necessary and as deemed appropriate by the Finance Manager.

The post holder will not have supervisory responsibilities for any workforce staff.

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**
- . Demonstrate prior experience working in finance and invoicing;
- Working Knowledge of Xero (Preferred but not essential)
- Proactive and able to work on own initiative and as part of a team;
- Manage own time, workload and resources;
- Excellent attention to detail;
- Maintain records accurately and without error;
- Ensure efficiency and accuracy in the company's financial records;
- Alert other team members to issues of quality;
Education

Be an active member in your own personal and professional development.

Be responsible for training, supervising and mentoring members of the team as the division grows.

Other

**SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS**

The post holder will be required to travel between offices and sites within the UK to carry out the role efficiently.

**Salary**: £23,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
