An exciting opportunity to join the stroke /TIA service

Are you looking for a new challenge? We are looking to recruit a compassionate, highly motivated team player with excellent communication skills to join and work alongside the stroke specialist nurses and stroke consultants in the Transient Ischaemic Attack (TIA) clinics and stroke service.

This unique post offers the opportunity to combine both elements of patient care to stroke patients in a busy acute setting alongside administrative support to stroke consultants in TIA clinics and collection and inputting of data into national stroke data bases. The post holder will work closely with the stroke multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless, quality, evidence based care.

To provide administrative support for the consultants leading the TIA daily reviews and in the case of patients attending face to face reviews support and guidance throughout their clinic experience. Alongside the stroke CNS’s maintain data records to ensure smooth and safe pathways within the service, to include the government Stroke Sentinel National Audit program. To support the stroke CNS’s in delivering evidence-based stroke care to all patients admitted to Airedale hospital with a stroke and ensuring a smooth, safe transition back into the community.

We are a national centre for telemedicine and introduced telehealth to the UK offender healthcare sector and also provide the service to patients in their care homes.
