Hygiene Operative

What you'll be doing
We have an exciting opportunity for a Hygiene Operative to join our team based at our Tamworth's depot. Start times will usually be around 7/8am in the morning but can start as early as 4am on occasion.

As the Hygiene Operative you will be carrying out activities to assist with site cleanliness.
- Ensure that all set hygiene tasks are completed each week.
- Manage sites pallet collection process, calling for additional collections when required.
- Marshall pump trucks for repair when required.
- Assist Van Loading Team with keeping van loading area clean and that any waste is disposed of.
- Keep vehicle and Van Loading area cleaning equipment clean.
- Carry out daily checks on MHE used to include road sweeper.

What we’re looking for
- Have credible experience of working in a busy warehouse / transport operation.
- Counterbalance forklift licence and experience of driving road sweepers a benefit. But training can be given.
- Good attention to detail and demonstrable self-discipline to manage your work tasks with minimum supervision, whilst being held fully accountable.
- Be able to drive Greencore’s delivery vans, either already assessed or willing to be assessed,** a driving license is essential to the role**.
