**Factory Assistant**:
Yorkshire Dales Ice Cream are on the hunt for an energetic team player to join the production team We are a family business based on the Bolton Abbey Estate manufacturing and retailing wholesome dairy ice cream. The role we are hiring for involves all aspects of ice cream production. Daily tasks involves collecting milk from our local farmer, batch cooking ice cream, packing and storing ice cream, cleaning down the production line. The role is ideal for someone who is looking to get stuck into a fantastic family business, someone who is looking for a career as opposed to just a ‘job’. There is shed loads to be learnt, and an infinite amount of progression to be made within the organisation. The role involves heavy lifting (25kg bags) and working for periods at cold temperatures Due to the seasonality of ice cream the hours vary on the time of year; broadly speaking we work 30 hours a week September - February and 50 hours a week March - August. Role: Full-Time

**Salary**: £21,000 per annum

Hours: 9am-1pm(winter)/7am-5pm summer)

Holiday: 5 weeks (4 weeks to be taken out of summer period)

Location: Halton East, near Skipton.

Requirements: Driving Licence and transport required due to location of farm and poor public transport options.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £23,750.00-£25,000.00 per year
