CNC Machinist

Morgan King have partnered with a leading manufacturing business with global presence, operating in fields of oil and gas, aerospace & military and renewable & nuclear energy.

Due to sustained growth, they are looking to hire experienced CNC Machinist to join their team on a permanent basis.

**Working hours**:
There are multiple shifts available:

- Days: Monday to Friday, 7am - 4pm
- Nights: Sunday to Wednesday or Monday to Thursday (9pm - 7am)
- Rotating: as above, two weeks on days, two weeks on nights. There is a possibility of working permanent nights.
- Plenty of overtime available.

**Pay**:

- Days - £18.50 per hour
- Nights - £24.05 per hour
- Overtime: paid x1.3 during the week, and x1.5 during the weekend

- This CNC Machinist is a permanent opportunity working directly for the employer from day one.

**Responsibilities (CNC Machinist)**:

- Working in a machine shop, machining components on a range of CNC machines
- Select and modify programs from database as required
- Ensure production paperwork and QA cards are completed
- Report any issues with plant, equipment or tooling to supervisor
- May by required to occasionally undertake manual machining tasks

**The successful CNC Machinist will**:

- Have previous experience in CNC turning or milling
- Mechanical apprenticeship or Level 3 Mechanical SVQ / NVQ
- Have good understanding of technical drawings
- Have excellent work ethics
- Be able to work on own initiative as well as within a team
- Be motivated and enthusiastic.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £18.50-£29.80 per hour
