We have an exciting opportunity available for a **Cleaning Supervisor** to join our team in the **Birkenhead area - CH43 4UY. **30 hours
- 7am till 9am & 2pm till 6pm, 1 x 16 hour

**About the role**:
You will be responsible for the general cleaning of the premises in accordance specification, under the direction of the Cleaning Supervisor. Ensuring all cleaning materials are handled and used in the correct way in accordance with the COSHH data sheet.

**Key responsibilities as our Cleaning Supervisor will include**:

- Monitor staffing levels within the Cleaning Team
- Organise temporary cover where required
- Providing the cleaning service to the client within budget
- Monitoring sickness and absence levels within the team
- Ensuring equipment and consumables are used and restocked appropriately
- Managing weekly time sheets for the Cleaning Team
- Scheduling and organising deep cleans over school holiday periods
- Managing Health & Safety issues and accident reporting
- Liaising with site management on a daily basis
- Monitoring cleaning standards and implementing change where required
- Ad hoc duties assigned to the Cleaning Supervisor as required

**Essential skills required to become our Cleaning Supervisor**:

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Understand safe working practices and health and safety legislation
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Well-organised and capable of prioritising own work
- Flexible approach to working as part of a team
- Previous experience working as a cleaner or similar role
- Experience in the use of cleaning equipment
- COSHH training (Desirable)
