Case Fitter/ Joinery

We are a flight case company based in Rainham, Essex. We build a variety of cases like road trunks, racks, briefcases etc) out of plywood and wood with all sorts of hardware handles, corners, catches etc) that are used in a in many industries such as broadcasting, audio visual, lighting, exhibitions, entertainment, and many others.

This is a "hands on job" position where using all kinds of hand tools and various wood machinery equipment (pop-guns, nail/ staple guns, various drills etc) Case fitter builds a flight case, from pre-cut CNC plywood panels by
- Cleaning, sanding plywood panels
- Rebating panels at the machine
- Cutting to sizes at the circular saw/wall saw
- Knocking up panels using staple guns
- Paint spray (spray gun, hand brush) where and when necessary
- Riveting aluminium edges and other hardware at the riveting machines
- Fitting cases by adding hardware using drills and pop guns
- **Other duties includes**:_

Handling, Packing and storing goods

Keeping the work areas and machinery clean

Reporting to manager

**Skills Required**:
Speak and read basic English

Work quickly and efficiently

Focused while doing repetitive tasks (riveting, hammering, etc.)

Work well with your colleagues and team mates

Must be flexible to work when needed

Must have Bank Account and proof of address

FULL TRAINING OF THE PROCESS WILL BE PROVIDED, HOWEVER Previous experience WORKING with hand tools min 1 year is requested.

**Salary**: From £22,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- 7 Lamson road: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Fabrication: 1 year (preferred)
