**3. JOB PURPOSE**
We seek a dedicated and qualified psychotherapist experienced in delivering Therapeutic Life Story Work to join our growing Clinical Hub Team. In this role, you'll provide psychotherapy and other therapeutic services to children in a school setting with complex mental health needs.
Using Psychotherapy, you'll assist them in expressing and processing emotions, dealing with trauma, and improving well-being.
As part of Therapeutic Life Story Work, you'll guide children to explore and understand their past. Using creative methods and play, you'll help them connect past experiences with current emotions and behaviours.
Collaborating with the team around the child which includes professionals and families, your focus is on navigating complex emotions, coping with trauma, and fostering overall well-being.
Upholding ethical standards, you'll contribute to the holistic support of each child, traveling within the community as needed. Your role is vital in creating a safe space for self-discovery and positive impact.

**6. WORKING CONDITIONS**
- Carry out duties and responsibilities effectively in a range of setting and operating a clear diary.
- The post holder may be working in environments where there is a risk of physical and verbal aggression.
- The post holder must be able to work independently but will be accountable to, and supported by, the clinical lead.
- The post holder will note their working week will be spread across Monday to Friday, but what hours are worked on what days may be negotiated.
- Occasionally, flexibility is required to participate in meetings, training and to support service needs.
- The post holder will be required to lone work.
**7. REHABILITATION OF OFFENDERS**
Due to the nature of the work for which you are applying, the post is exempt for the provisions of Section 4(2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974, by virtue of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exemptions Order) 1975.
