The Plymouth Institute of Education (PIoE) has a strong reputation, both nationally and internationally, for the quality and scope of its teaching and research. PIoE delivers a suite of programmes including BA undergraduate programmes, as well as post-graduate, Masters and doctoral programmes.

We are looking for someone to fill a 1FTE position on the BA Early Childhood Studies (job shares will be considered). You should have professional experience and confidence to teach, tutor and assess. Crucially applicants need to be confident and experienced to work on a range of modules at UG level and to have an appropriate pedagogic approach to support and enthuse students in their taught modules and research based assessments and dissertation. We would be interested to hear from those with expertise in social inequalities, child well-being in the developing world and social policy.

**This role will require an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check plus a Children’s Barred List and Adults Barred List check.**

This is a full-time, permanent position, working 37 hours a week.
