**About the Role**:
Maidstone Borough Council is looking for motivated individuals committed to delivering high standards to join the Street Cleansing Team, predominately working in the Town Centre.

The roles are based outdoors, working in all-weather types, appropriate protective clothing will be supplied. This involves manually sweeping and cleaning streets and footpaths, picking up litter and emptying litter bins.

There are currently two permanent full-time roles available.

**About You**:
Our operatives require a good level of physical fitness and a willingness to work in all weather conditions.

We are seeking keen & reliable street cleansers working in Maidstone, within various public areas, path sweeping, litter picking, and generally keeping the area clean as instructed.

Ability to interpret work instruction and deliver/complete tasks to the appropriate standards.

Additionally, you will have excellent communication skills as you will be representing the Council and will need to be courteous and helpful at all times.
