To deal with telephone enquiries from GPs, patients, and staff in a courteous and diplomatic manner to ensure that appropriate messages are passed onto the relevant people in a timely fashion. To communicate highly sensitive information to patients / consultants. Additionally you may be required to: To act as Biopsy Scheduler for the booking of dermatology biopsies and day case surgery at Watford General Hospital. To cover periods of leave or absence of Biopsy Scheduler based at Hemel Hempstead and St Albans.

To code all dermatology procedures and nurse led activity. Managing biopsy room planner. Managing waiting lists for our longest waiters You will need to cancel/rebook Dermatology biopsy lists when necessary You will also cover periods of leave or absence of within the team for other roles when required as well as cover at Hemel Hempstead and St Albans. Experienced and committed, you will provide an efficient and comprehensive administrative service to the Consultants and multi-disciplinary team.

The successful applicant will need to have a good general level of education and meet the essential criteria outlined in the attached Person Specification.
