Livestock Operative

Overview:
Dunbia Cumbria is looking to recruit a Part Time Livestock Operative working 2pm -7pm Monday to Friday.

The role will support the site with the welfare and unloading of the animals when they come to site and also assist with general yard duties.

**Responsibilities**:
The key responsibilities of this role will be the undertaking of the daily duties, such as: - Intake and unloading of Livestock
- Checking Livestock for health and cleanliness
- Ensure correct registration details are recorded for the Livestock
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the Lairage areas for livestock to ensure that animals health, care and hygiene are well looked after

Qualifications:

- To display a positive and proactive attitude
- Good communication skills
- A hardworking and dedicated approach to work
- Have previous experience of Animal Welfare
- Preferably worked with Livestock
