North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated Electrical Craftsperson to join our Estates Team. In this role, you'll be an essential part of our team, working to meet departmental and Trust objectives. Your responsibilities will include handling complex and non-routine tasks, where you'll need to assess and address each situation effectively. You'll be responsible for calibrating and troubleshooting various engineering equipment and systems, such as power distribution, lighting, fire detection, and more. Ensuring compliance with Trust safety standards and procedures is a crucial aspect of the role. Additionally, you'll perform maintenance, repairs, and minor improvements across the Trust, ensuring everything meets safety standards. We're looking for someone who is motivated, reliable, and flexible, ready to contribute positively to our team and the Trust's goals.

The successful applicant would be responsible maintaining electrical systems throughout the West Cumberland Hospital including single and 3 phase power distribution systems, lighting systems, data network wiring and door access systems.

The applicant would also be responsible for maintaining electrical equipment throughout the hospital including reported defects, periodic maintenance and reactive works highlighted.

The successful person would also be required to handle emergency repairs promptly whilst maintaining patient safety.

The applicant would need to be able to undertake training in new fields as technology changes and areas such as high voltage electrical systems.
