**ROLE OVERVIEW**:
Working closely with the HR Manager, responsible for advising and supporting management on all HR related matters and training throughout the business and administering HR processes, procedures, and functions.

**ROLE PURPOSE**:
The purpose of the role is to provide HR advice and support to designated areas of Westbridge to support the delivery of business goals and to deliver agreed HR projects in a fast paced, dynamic, and growing organisation. Westbridge is a multi-site, non-unionised business employing circa. 1,000 staff who have experience rapid growth in recent years. The role holder will operate up to Director level, supporting on all people related activities.

**KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Act as the first point of contact for advice and problem solving in the areas of employee relations: disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance management. Adopt a consultative approve with employees and managers and build strong relationships across the organisation.
- Oversee the analysis of sickness absence data and oversee guidance to line managers when appropriate actions are required to be taken in accordance with company policy.
- Manage the relationship and referrals with Occupational Health organisations ensuring the effective use and promotion of services available.
- Co-ordinating the recruitment process: advertising, liaising with agencies, and support at interviews as required. Appropriately collating new starter documentation information and following the new starter processes and payroll processing - starters, leavers, and general staff changes.
- Identify new initiatives for staff retention and improved engagement.
- Manage and administer all day-to-day HR activities across the employee lifecycle whilst ensuring the HR System is accurately kept up to date.
- Develop and manage the preparation and analysis of management information relating to HR matters e.g. sickness, workforce profiles, headcount and turnover etc.
- Facilitating management development and organisation improvement in operational areas where headcount is tightly controlled and where many pressing immediate priorities already exist and distract from longer development plans.
- To keep up to date with developments in employment legislation and HR best practice, knowledge sharing within the team to ensure continuous development and improvement in the service offered.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Experience**:

- Human resources: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- CIPD (preferred)
