TD Recruitment are currently looking for a Mobile Plant Operator for our client in Mussleburgh area.

OBJECTIVES:

- To be trained in all aspects of the mobile plant operations
- To follow standard operation procedures and safety operating procedures including lock off
- To assist the achievement of operating targets whilst maintaining high levels of quality, safety, and environmental awareness within the site
- To understand all the risks and hazards associated with performed tasks
- General operation of mobile plant (excavator 360, grab - tracked / wheeled, loading shovel, telescopic handler) as per NPORS training

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Follow all site safety rules (reporting procedures, PPE, smoking policy, emergency procedures)
- The safe operation of mobile plant
- Processing and movement of materials
- Feeding lines and hoppers with material for process
- Cleaning work areas
- Carrying out daily checks in accordance with company procedures and site working plan
- Co-operate with site management
- Maintaining Standard Operating Procedures as required
- Working to timescales and deadlines
- Keep site supervisor informed of any issues or concerns (relevant & timely);
- Ensure lock off procedure are followed correctly
- Ensure housekeeping of working area is maintained to good standard
- Be aware of own limitations
- Attend training as and when required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£38,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Excavator: 4 years (preferred)
- Recycling: 4 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- CPCS or NPORS (required)
