Plate Fitter

On behalf of our client, we are now looking for **Plate Fitters** to join our busy team based in **Brownhills Area**. Your daily duties will include (but are not limited to):

- Tack welding with MIG, Stick and TIG welding equipment
- Calculating and interpreting complex math and drawings
- Deconstruct a drawing of fabrication to its parts to create a cutting list
- Laying out the job, using a dumpy level
- Correcting distortion in angles and tubes using oxyacetylene equipment
- Using an overhead crane
- Following health and safety regulations
- Relevant skills to be tested upon interview
- Will have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience (Essential)
- Be confident with MIG, STICK and TIG welding (Requirement)
- Experience in the fitting flange, elbow, socket and tree pipe (Advantageous)
- Relevant qualifications (Essential)
- Right to work in the United Kingdom
- Quick learner
- Be able to follow all health and safety regulations

Due to location own transport is essential, free parking available on site.

Monday - Thursday
7:55 - 16:30
Friday:
7:55 - 13:30
