**Here's the exciting bit a day includes**

To provide documentation support to the Pharmacy Operations and Superintendent teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide communication service for the department so that queries are dealt with promptly
- Manage approaches from third parties
- Provide a central point of contact for the field team, booking accommodation / travel as required
- Locum Co-ordination
- To be central point of contact for pharmacy stores and travel clinics for locum cover
- To source reliable, quality locums for day off, holiday and sickness cover, at agreed company rate with minimum travel cost
- To forward plan for holidays and known ‘peak’ times to ensure our pharmacies receive consistent good quality locum cover
- To keep locum management database up to date with locum pharmacist and dispenser details and details of store requirements and bookings
- To minimise agency costs by building relationships with direct locums and continuing to build our direct locum database
- To review our locum rates regularly to ensure that we are competitive in the market across the country
- To check registration and right to work details of all locums
- To seek approval for exceptional locum charges from RHMs/SHOM informing them of detailed reasons of occurrence
- Manage Relief Pharmacist rotas to ensure they meet their contractual requirements, prioritising day off cover with this cohort of employees
- Production of customer and store letters
- Production of Audit letters
- Manage and distribute sundries and stationery orders for stores
- Update NHS websites with contractual information as required
- Collation of information and data from pharmacy teams
- Support communication to pharmacy teams
- General administrative tasks such photocopying, filing etc.

**Key Health and Safety Responsibilities**
- Take reasonable care of the health and safety of yourself and of others who may be affected by what you do or do not do at work;
- Cooperate with the employer on health and safety matters;
- Not misuse any equipment that is provided for safety purposes (e.g. fire extinguishers or safety goggles);
- Follow instructions from the employer on health and safety matters and attend relevant health and safety training;
- Report hazards and defects observed in the workplace; and
- Report any accident, injury or near miss in the workplace.

**What you’ll need to succeed**

***-PC literate
- You should have general administrative tasks such photocopying, filing etc.
- Strong communication skills
- Strong time management skills
- Adaptable and respondent to change
