Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Music Instructor to join our team. As an Instrumental Instructor, you will have the opportunity to inspire and educate students of all ages and abilities in the art of music. Teaching individual lessons, you will play a vital role in nurturing students' musical abilities and fostering their love for music.

**Duties**:

- Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to each student's skill level and musical goals
- Teach students how to read sheet music/TAB, play various instruments, and understand music theory
- Provide guidance and support to help students improve their technical skills and musicality
- Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback for improvement
- Ensure a friendly, welcoming and positive learning environment.
- Stay updated on current trends and advancements in music education to enhance teaching methods
- Knowledge and understanding and experience of preparing stuents for examinations and requirements of Registered Exam bodies e.g. ABRSM, RSL. Trinity etc. pertaining to your instrument.

**Experience**:

- Minimum HND qualification in music performance, Bachelor's degree in Music performance or Education preferred.
- Proven experience teaching music lessons to students of different ages and skill levels
- Proficiency in playing one or more musical instruments
- Strong knowledge of music theory, sight reading, and ear training techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, creativity, and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students (experience of teaching children with additional supprt for learning needs is desireable, though not essential)
- Familiarity with various teaching methods and resources related to teaching your instrument.
