**JOB TYPE**: Part-Time
**SALARY**: £21,182 per annum (pro rata for part time) dependant on experience. This will be reviewed upon successful completion of training and 3-month probationary period

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking individual to join our friendly team working in GMP manufacturing environments. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all designated areas as directed using appropriate equipment and/or materials as supplied.

Primary Responsibilities - Cleaning, washing walls, sweeping, emptying of litter bins, cleaning of equipment as required to keep a high audit standard at all times. You will also provide support to the supervisor, lead the team in the supervisor's absence and liaise with the customer.

**Role Responsibility**:

- Produce GDP Compliant reports and documentation
- Maintain the highest standard of cleanliness within assigned areas by ensuring that the relevant work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs) are followed.
- To ensure accurate completion of area logbooks as required by SOPs.
- Ensure regular checks of the equipment and machines used during the working day. Any faults/defects to be reported to GMP Cleaning Supervisor.
- Participate in the Health and Safety Policy of the Company and report any dangers or hazards to GMP Cleaning Supervisor.
- To attend training sessions appertaining to post.
- Carry out any duties as required by the GMP Cleaning Supervisor.
- To liaise on a daily basis with other members of the cleaning team, other staff and customers.
- All employees are required to, and are responsible for adhering to Quality, Compliance and Environmental, Health and Safety regulations and Micronclean procedures applicable to their role. Training will be provided to ensure that the procedures are understood, and responsibilities are defined.
- To provide support to the supervisor
- To lead the team in the supervisor's absence
- To liaise with the customer

**Essential**:

- General good health.
- Reasonable standard of fitness as job holder on feet for most of the day.
- Prepared to wear full uniform at all times.
- Prepared to work to strict timelines in isolated areas and follow stringent dress codes relevant to GMP.
- Prepared to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as directed by Line Manager and in accordance with the working instructions / procedures.
- Good standard of IT literacy - Microsoft Office

**Desirable**:

- Experience within a similar industry.
- Team worker with a flexible approach.
- Knowledge of COSHH.
- An understanding of GMP and quality systems.
- Good communication skills.
- Machinery skills
- Previous supervisory/team leader experience

**Package Description**

**Hours of work**:
**Part Time**: Friday - Monday inclusive (Friday 10.00am to 6.00pm, Saturday 6.00am to 11.00am, Sunday 6.00am to 11.00am and Monday 10.00am to 6.00pm)

Laptop and mobile phone will be provided

**Holiday**:
Full time: 30 days holidays per year (not including Bank Holidays). Additional holiday awarded following 3, 4 & 5 years continuous service to a maximum of 33 days (pro-rated for part time employees)

Bonus: Annual profit share bonus payable each January.

**Start Date**: Immediate

Working conditions are normal for a GMP manufacturing facility.
