Taking referrals from Hampshire County Council you will be supporting New Forest adults with learning difficulties & physical disabilities by matching them with local volunteers, who will offer weekly help to socialise, go shopping and connect in their communities, with the aim of helping them to increase their independence and wellbeing.  We are seeking staff with a passion for helping people and the drive and enthusiasm to be involved from the start of this exciting new project. We need a Community Friends Manager to set up and deliver the project and an Administrator to support the Manager.

**Job Title**:Community Friends Administrator

**Team**:Volunteer Team

**Hours**:15 per week (Mon-Fri flexible)

**Salary**:Band C FTE £21,164.00 p.a. Actual salary £8,580.00 p.a.

**Responsible to**:Community Friends Manager

**Responsible for**:No line management responsibilities

**Job Purpose**:
To support the delivery of our new Community Friends project, supporting clients with learning disabilities and physical disabilities across the New Forest, matching them with local volunteers who will offer weekly help to socialise, go shopping and connect in their communities, with the aiming of helping them to increase their independence and wellbeing.

You will have specific responsibility for the secure record keeping of volunteer and client information, scheduling matches between clients and volunteers, financial record keeping and recording monitoring and evaluation information to inform monthly reports.

.**Specific Duties**
- To provide a full range of high quality administrative support to the Community Friends project
- Work with the Manager to record matches between volunteers and clients, recording activities undertaken & time spent
- Record information in our Wellbeing CRM system ensuring all data is kept confidential and accurate
- Retaining accurate records of all volunteers and clients
- Assist with the arranging of volunteer team meeting booking venues and liaising with volunteers
- Dealing with queries from volunteers, clients and the referring team in Hampshire County Council
- Support the Community Friends Manager to ensure all timescales are met in line with the service contract
- Contribute to monthly reports
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and their families and carers
- Undertaking such other duties as may reasonably be required of you commensurate with your grade and as required to support the organisation

**Finance**
- Keep accurate records of all volunteer matches and expenditure
- Contribute to monthly financial reports liaising with Community First’s finance team.

**Compliance and Risk Assessment**
- Support the Community Friends Manager to ensure all compliance records are kept securely and accurately, including but not limited to risk assessments, financial information, volunteer training, safeguarding and confidential information
- Support the Community Friends Manager to ensure any safeguarding concerns raised are dealt with appropriately and in a timely manner

**Person Specification**

**Essential**:

- Experience of working as an administrator
- Excellent IT skills, including the standard MS Office package
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with a wide range of individuals
- Able to work with a minimum amount of supervision in a team setting or alone.
- A proactive approach to work with the ability to show initiative and achieve results
- Customer focused - Able to demonstrate a commitment to the principle of customer care and empathy for the clients we support
- Organised and methodical approach to work with the ability to organise and prioritise own work schedule
- Clear enhanced DBS check
