Grafton Recruitment are partnering with a global, leading organisation as they recruit for an experienced Buyer to further enhance their procurement function.

The role is suited to an experienced Buyer who will share our client's desire to deliver real value to the highest level as they believe passion, personality and drive is just as important as experience.

The successful buyer will join a fast-growing, multi-discipline to ensure they procure products at the best value to provide customers' with access to best technology and advancements in their field.

**The role**:

- Engaging with suppliers and stakeholders at multiple levels to develop strong relationships
- Undertaking market analysis to understand trends, market share etc to support category management planning
- Supporting the Senior Buyer with category management plan
- Developing a strong understanding of cost implications and impacts for customers
- Ensuring a strong understanding of the industry market

**You will need**:

- Buyer/Procurement background - relevant qualifications desirable
- Experience in a healthcare/medical device/NHS environment advantageous
- Stakeholder management experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Solid IT skills - particularly Excel
- Business development or account management experience advantageous
- Previous examples of performing cost saving exercises
