**_ About the role_**

To provide clerical, secretarial and administrative support to the Principal of the Academy.

To ensure effective and efficient support to the Principal of the academy and provide excellent service to the overall running of the academy.

Act as PA to the Principal with complex, confidential and sensitive issues in an appropriate manner.

To proactively manage the diary arrangements for the Principal, and other senior teaching staff as required, keeping full control of appointments and diary bookings, identifying and resolving any potential conflicts and taking account of travel time.

To arrange and coordinate travel and accommodation, managing the itinerary in conjunction with the diary and reviewing forthcoming commitments to ensure the most effective use of time for the Principal.

To host all visitors to the Principal and ensure that appropriate arrangements have been made for meeting and greeting and that refreshments are available, as agreed with the Principal.

Permanent, Full time (Term Time), 37 Hours per week, Monday - Friday, 40 weeks per year.

NJC13 FTE £26,876 per annum, £24,212.61 pro rata

**_ Who we are looking for_**

Educated to GCSE-level or equivalent, including English and Mathematics.

To be a skilled user of Microsoft Office, with the ability to produce, create and edit documents using Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Knowledge for developing and management of relevant administrative procedures, including use of relevant ICT packages and systems, and knowledge of administration policies and procedures.

Sound knowledge and understanding of Data Protection, Safeguarding and confidentiality issues.

Analytical skills for interpreting data and complex information.

Proven ability for record keeping, information retrieval and dissemination of data/documentation to relevant parties.

Significant office experience in a senior administrative or PA role with a clear understanding of the need for confidentiality.

Keyboarding skills and knowledge of MS Office.

Excellent organisational and time management skills, competent in meeting tight deadlines and comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion.
