Despatch Operative

An opportunity has arisen for a **Despatch Operator **to join our Production Department. It is preferred that applicants have previous experience working in a Despatch environment, however full training will be given. This position involves manual handling, packing, and requires applicants to have excellent attention to detail.

FLEXIBILITY WILL BE CONSIDERED WITH REGARDS TO HOURS PER WEEK.
- pack customers product in accordance with specific requirements.
- create and supply accompanying paperwork for the Customer Service Team.
- daily use of vacuum packaging machines, industry scales and lifting equipment
- assemble cardboard packaging on a daily basis for required product.
- use of computer system to record journals, and complete paperwork/log books.
- this role involves working in an ESD protected environment therefore antistatic overalls, footwear and wristraps are provided.

**What your key skills and experiences are**:

- experience in a despatch environment is preferred but not essential
- basic PC skills are essential, ability to prioritise work load and work to deadlines.
- attention to detail and accuracy as this is the end process prior to our customers.

**Additional Details**:

- A comprehensive training plan will be included as part of this position
- Pension provided by AEGON above the government standard minimum
- £10.42 per hour.
