Join our friendly and supportive team as a Technical Inspector. You will deliver capital works programs as well as planned and reactive projects. You’ll join a fast-paced, dynamic working environment where team work will be key to our success as a department.

This is a varied role so no two days will be the same. You will be responsible for carrying out a range of technical inspections and surveys including pre/post inspections and stock condition surveys to ensure the quality of our properties; using your findingsto create detailed specifications of work to inform work that needs to be carried out and project costings.

About you

You will have extensive experience of working in a Maintenance or Construction environment and ideally hold an HNC/NVQ level 4 in Building or an associated discipline.

Accordingly, you will be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of building processes, CDM, Asbestos and defects provisions.

You will also have (or be working towards) a valid SSSTS, FDIS, HHSRS. Being an excellent and confident communicator is essential in this role and you will have a good level of numeracy and literacy skills plus proven success of managing the delivery ofcustomer focussed services.

You must be confident with IT including job logging systems.

Due to the nature of the role, you will need to have valid driving licence. Flexibility is key as you may be spending large amounts of time in the office or in the field.

Operating hours Monday - Friday 8am - 6pm
