Location; Middleton - on site car parking

Salary; £28,000 - £35,000 salary offered will be dependent on depth of experience

With our Client we are urgently looking to appoint an experienced Stores / Warehouse person to work in our busy, compact Engineering stores and take on the responsibilities of Stores and Stock Control Manager.
The Stores is an integral part of our Clients manufacture and installation programs and as such a very wide variety of engineering and electrical parts and materials pass through them.
The work includes overseeing the goods inwards and goods out functions as well as stock control, working closely with department colleagues.
We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic person who wants a new challenge and is able to make the job department very much 'their own’.
You must have experience working in an engineering environment. The job includes clerical paperwork, inputting and using on a Computer system as well as sometimes the physical work needed to pack, load and unload parts and machinery.
This is a senior role and although we are looking for someone capable of being in charge of the department, you will be working in a successful, established, family business as a part of a small and enthusiastic team.
The role is offered Monday - Friday - there may be an occasional need to work a half day on a Saturday for Stock Taking.
