Our client, a global leader in gas appliance manufacturing, are currently searching for a Design Engineer to join their team in Runcorn on a permanent basis

**The Role**:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Design Engineer (Solidworks). The successful applicant will help support and drive the market leading product portfolio. The organisation supplies Hydrogen ready, Bio-LPG ready, heat pump, solar thermal and electricalheating and hot water equipment. You will be at the forefront of futureproof technologies and designs, therefore we are looking for an ambitious design engineer / internal sales who is ready for the next step in their career.

**The role will predominantly consist of**:

- Designing hot water and heating solutions for multiple stakeholders.
- Assisting sales with progressing enquiries, assisting building services design consultants, architects, estates departments, main contractors
- Help in administration of procurement portals, frameworks, pre-qualification questionnaires, pre-purchase
- Providing both technical and commercial solutions for the clients requirements
- Create capex, opex and carbon calculations to support quotation packages (Training given)
- Create basic schematic layouts for new system design
- Create and deliver CPD content based on designs and legislation
- Assist with new product developments project within an innovative environment.
