**Who we are**:
D&D London is a diverse and vibrant collection of 43 restaurants (including one with a Michelin Star) and an award-winning hotel situated in London and beyond. Founded by Des Gunewardena and David Loewi (the D and D in the name) in 2006, the company has rapidly expanded and contains some of London’s most iconic restaurants, such as Bluebird, Le Pont de la Tour, Sartoria, German Gymnasium and 14 Hills. Outside London the company has made their mark by opening Crafthouse, Angelica, Issho and East 59th in Leeds, 20 Stories in Manchester and Klosterhaus in Bristol.

**A bit about what you will be doing**:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual with excellent administration skills and a passion for food.

The role will involve working with the Head of Safety to oversee product safety documentation throughout our supply chain, ensuring all products purchased are safe, legal, responsibly sourced and meet the specified product brief. In addition, there will be a requirement to ensure product information is correctly maintained in line with company requirements and legislation.

**Main responsibilities**:

- To ensure all products within the business comply with the required quality, safety, legal and integrity standards
- To ensure up to date product specifications exist for all products and are maintained on a central platform
- To work with suppliers to ensure labelling information is legal and factually correct, including shelf life at all stages through the supply chain
- To manage and maintain product information relating to nutrition, allergen, dietary requirements and CSR
- To maintain supplier approval information (eg. BRC, SALSA)
- To monitor safety-related performance of suppliers and products and report trends to the Head of Safety and the Purchasing Team
- To assist the Purchasing Team to manage any product withdrawals or recalls where applicable
- To attend meetings with Buyers and Suppliers as required
- To create new users on the online safety platform (ALERT65)
- To provide training in the use of ALERT65
- To run reports from ALERT65 as required
- To monitor and report on the Supply Chain Complaints module on ALERT65 and communicate to Purchasing Team.
- To check and verify calorie information for all restaurants on a quarterly basis and provide feedback.
- To check and verify allergen information for all restaurants as required and provide feedback.
- To check and verify recipes on Adaco as required.
- Previous experience of working in the restaurant industry
- Basic knowledge of food safety requirements
- An understanding of restaurant operations and a genuine interest in food
- Attention to detail
- The ability to process data accurately
- Excellent communication, administration and computer skills
