**The Opportunity**

**Shift Pattern: 4on 4 off**

**6am till 6pm**

In this role you will be reporting to the Transport Supervisor/Manager and will be responsible for providing timely and accurate completion of all despatch functions and transport administration processes in line with Company standards

Key Responsibilities:

- First point of contact for all SBD drivers, agency drivers and external customer drivers ensuring drivers are fully briefed/debriefed and correct paperwork and Proof of Delivery’s are issued and returned.
- Responsible for answering Driver/Debrief telephone and ensuring all questions, queries or concerns are resolved in a timely and efficient manner and referring issues to the Supervisor as required.
- Liaise with drivers throughout the shift to ensure progress on deliveries
- Liaison with the Warehouse and other departments to ensure any dispatch issues are dealt with and managed as required.
- Strict compliance with all published procedures and compilation of Delivery on Time Reports.
- Check driver's Load Summaries prior to issue and support the drivers with any payroll-related matters ensuring any queries are dealt with in a timely matter and a resolution is reached.
- Computer literate
- Excellent telephone and communication skills
- Organised and Flexible
- Excellent relationship-building and customer-facing skills
- Strong administration skills with attention to detail
- Good geographical knowledge

Able to work to time-sensitive deadlines and prioritize work
