Based in Kings Lynn
Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday - Friday

We are looking for a Environmental, Health and Safety Specialist to report directly to the Operations Director and be responsible for the day to day running of our client's site HSMS and EMS. The role will involve coordinating and implementing health, safetyand environmental best practices as well as increasing visibility, compliance and awareness of policies and standards.
Responsibilities for EHS Specialist:
- Lead and co-ordinate monthly Safety Committee meetings
- Reviewing risk assessments as they become due or period elapses
- Manage and co-ordinate site e-learning and tool box talks, whilst maintaining training records
- Conducting internal audits and inspections and where necessary, proposing corrective actions
- Prepare monthly metrics and reports for review and discussion with Operations Director
Applicants must hold the NEBOSH General Certificate in Health and Safety and have proven experience in this position in an industry setting. You will need excellent communication skills as you will be liaising with all levels internally and externally.
