Seasonal Harvest Worker

**Harvest Workers at Porters Somerton Farms**

We are looking for 3 people to join our 1200ha family, run farming business cropping winter wheat, winter and spring barley, OSR and beans. Integrated in the farming business is a 900,000-bird crop of broiler chickens.

Porters Somerton Farms is a long established arable and poultry producer based in Lincolnshire, working with modern farm machinery.

**Main Roles**:

- Grain carting
- Pushing up grain using telehandler

**Other roles may include**:

- General workshop maintenance
- Yard and Grain store logistics
- Flail mowing
- Muckspreading
- Occasional livestock work e.g. Mucking out

**Applicants will ideally have**
- **Previous tractor driving/carting experience**
- **Full clean driving licence**
- **Forklift/telehandler certificate (preferable)**
- **Workshop experience**

**Job Type**: Temporary contract
Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: £11.00-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 - 70 per week
