The Recruitment Co are recruiting for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for our client who is a market leader in Waste Management & Recycling.

Main Responsibilities:
To comply with all H&S regulations regarding equipment installations, maintenance and daily inspections and report any operational issues.
- To ensure that all contract targets are met and all best practices and legal compliance's for maintaining equipment are adhered to at all times.
- To ensure that the depot is maintained allowing the facility to be operated at its optimum.
- Keeps accurate maintenance record keeping against planned and unplanned maintenance work.
- Complete defect reports in a timely manner and report into the line manager.
- To plan, follow up and document the preventive maintenance for the equipment.
- To manage the relationship with maintenance subcontractors
- Managing subcontractors for invoicing on time and correctly
- To manage spare parts stock

To chase subcontractors for daily updates on equipment services
- To find alternatives to get a repair done
- To find spare parts alternatives
- To evaluate current service subcontractors and equipment suppliers
- Compliance with all Saica Natur administrative policies.
- To maintain industry sector knowledge, especially Best Available Techniques (BAT)

Recommended Personal Profile:
Mechanical or electrical engineer qualifications - Essential

3-5 years in maintenance roles.

Significant practical engineering experience
- Experience of automated equipment including recycling machinery, sortation and conveyor systems
- Multi skilled in both electrical and mechanical disciplines
- Experience of planned preventative maintenance systems

IOSH / NEBOSH

Experience of working to appropriate health & safety standards and regulations

NVQ Level 3 minimum.

Permanent Position

4 on 4 off 12 hour Day shifts only 6am-6pm
