We are looking for an experienced SHE Advisor to join our team. We offer a varied role monitoring work carried out on our sites and to ensure Health and Safety is upheld.

The SHE Advisor will assist in carrying out regular inspections and audits, identifying any non-conformities, reporting findings to the site managers and leadership team.

The role will also include providing advice for workers, supervisors and PM’s, carrying out accident and near miss investigations, delivering inductions, developing and carrying out toolbox talks across Southampton and East Sussex.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Health, safety and environmental compliance requirements, ensuring processes and procedures are in place
- Ensuring correct permits and licences are in place
- Investigating accidents, near misses and non-conformities
- Writing reports
- Advising management and site personnel on best practice SHE controls
- Understanding individual client requirements and forming policies and procedures accordingly to ensure compliance
- Reviewing and developing our H&S procedures and safe systems of work

**To succeed in this role you will have at least 3 years of experience in the construction industry as a SHE Advisor.**

**Qualifications**:

- Working towards NEBOSH standard qualified, or
- Tech IOSH level
- SMSTS (Desirable)

- Hailsham: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- construction industry SHEQ Advisor: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
