**Role purpose**
- This role, within the Colt Quality Assurance Group - Operating model, will be responsible for the E2E delivery of projects and stakeholder management within the Quality Assurance area._
- This role is to engage oneself in the Test Planning/Test Execution and Test Management on a day-to-day/regular basis and closely work with the all IT Infra & Apps Operations teams and business teams._

**Key accountabilities**
- To undertake all quality assurance / Testing related activities for IT projects as appropriate in order to ensure solutions will work as expected when launched. This will include, but is not limited to:_
- _Develop sufficient understanding of the system(s) to be tested in order to be able to assess what the system is meant to do, its key features and who will use it and subsequently to develop a system(s) test plan. _
- _Perform/manage System Integration testing, User Acceptance test management, Regression testing, Automation Testing and Performance testing._
- _Prepare and execute the Test Strategy, effort estimation and plan for all projects._
- _Manage & track design defects to timely resolution using industry standard tools_
- _Create & maintain_ _high-quality documentation for test processes & test artefacts_
- _Review and continuously optimize the testing processes, tools, timescales, costs, levels of effort and skill levels within the Testing team_
- _To co-ordinate and manage engagements with Service Delivery, Operations team and vendor management._
- _To manage communications and report Testing activities & status to key stakeholders _
- _To ensure the scope of all testing is sufficient ensure a comprehensive level of test coverage but does not repeat tests. _
- _To undertake Quality Assurance checks to ensure that only ‘fit-for-purpose’ code is delivered into test environments_
- _To attend workshops comprising business and or technical representatives to cover test-dependent activities such as requirement verification and prioritisation, test scenario identification and general matters_
- _To ensure that test scenarios and scripts are prepared in a structured way, prioritised to reflect business or technical priorities and are approved by appropriate stakeholders. _
- _To prepare and maintain relevant test documentation, including test scripts and other testing artifacts. _
- _To take responsibility for: time management; reporting and monitoring; risk management; issue management; quality assurance and change management._
- _To support other test team members and associated IT and Business resources as appropriate to the implementation of testing related activities._

**Role specific requirements**

**Skills & Experience**
- _10 - 15 years of total IT experience (7-8 years of Telecom Domain relevant experience - desirable)_
- _Knowledge of Telecom BSS/OSS Domain_
- _Knowledge of Functional Areas - Service Order Fulfilment and Provisioning, Quote Management, Billing, Service Assurance, Incident Management._
- _Working experience in Telecom Inventory Transformation Program._
- _Experience in Amdocs Inventory management system or any other inventory management systems like CRAMER, NETCRACKER etc._
- _Test Planning & Execution._
- _Stakeholder management and delivery management experience with excellent communication & leadership skills._
