**About us**:
The Department of Neuromuscular Diseases and the Queen Square MND Centre constitute a hub for clinical and research excellence across the spectrum of spinal cord and neuromuscular diseases and motor neuron disease (MND). Our group of world-leading clinical, genetic and basic science researchers focus their work on understanding the causes and biological mechanisms leading to neuromuscular disease and translating this knowledge into developing novel therapeutic solutions that is of direct benefit to neurological disorders such as MND, Alzheimer’s disease and neuromuscular disease.

**About the role**:
We are recruiting a Clinical Trials Coordinator to coordinate clinical trials and support a research nurse with the natural histories studies coordination within the Centre of Neuromuscular Diseases (CNMD) and QS MND Centre.

You will collate and manage regulatory documentation to ensure the team is conducting research in accordance with international and UK regulations, and local guidance. You will also support the preparation of ethics, MHRA, and R&D submissions, liaise with key stakeholders including staff, sponsors, and clinical research facilities, and organise and coordinate trail patient visits.

The post is available from 31 July 2023 and is funded to 30 November 2024 in the first instance.

**About you**:
You will have a Nursing or Allied Health Professional qualification with an active NMC or HCPC registration. Experience in clinical trials work, of working in a medical research environment, and of working in clinical research is essential, as is knowledge of ethical issues surrounding research and patients. You’ll also have experience of setting up and coordinating multi-centre studies, including financial and data management, and a good knowledge of current data protection legislation.
