You will be a Disability Assessor that cares and is also cared for by the support teams around you. You will report to a highly experienced manager, who will provide personalised guidance and support to you throughout your journey with us. Additionally, you will have access to a diverse team of senior leaders and clinicians with a wealth of expertise to assist you as needed. You will be able to progress through the career pathway with the support of those around you.

**About the role**

Play a crucial role in the disability assessment process, a service that touches the lives of millions of people in the UK.

You do not need to have worked as a Disability Assessor previously, we can support you in your career change with our accredited training programme and dedicated support from the management team.

**Salary and benefits**

**Key responsibilities**
- Speaking with people making a claim for the PIP benefit and working to assess a variety of complex conditions and impairments.
- Using your strong verbal communication skills and write high quality, fair and accurate assessment reports using a special IT system.
- Working with your line manager to advance your own professional development and career as a Disability Assessor.

**Essential experience and qualifications**
- Minimum of 12 months experience working as an RGN, RMN, RNLD, Paramedic, Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist.
- You must hold full registration with one of the following professional bodies:
Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)

Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC),
