**The Position**:
The duties you will be performing as part of your role:

- Respond to customer enquiries regarding Housing and Council services.
- Process and reconcile income following financial guidelines.
- Maintain electronic and manual records accurately and securely.
- Provide housing advice to customers seeking rehousing.
- Conduct interviews and assist with home visits as needed.
- Encourage customers to utilize online services and promote digital inclusion.
- Achieve performance targets and strive for continuous improvement.
- Promote and implement the Council’s Equality Policy.
- Maintain a safe working environment adhering to Health and Safety policies.
- Demonstrate commitment to the Council’s values and promote cross-service collaboration.
- Comply with Health & Safety Policies and procedures.
- Foster a positive, diverse, and inclusive attitude towards customers and colleagues.
- Undertake other appropriate responsibilities as assigned.

**About You**:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

- Experience working in a customer service environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Proficiency in ICT skills, including Microsoft Office Packages.
- Possession of 5 GCSEs or equivalent at Grade C (4 or above), including Maths and English, or relevant experience.

**Rate: Negotiable **£14.75 Per Hour (Umbrella)

**Commencement Date**: April/May 2024

**Work Hours**:37 Hours, Monday - Friday / 8:30 am - 5 pm
