**Location**: Wolverhampton area
**Hours**: 2 days on 4 days off shift pattern
**Salary**: £10.90 or 11.50 per hour depending if level 3/4 qualified, plus sleeps paid at £50 OTE £28,072 - £29,392 per annum

If so I am looking for children's residential support workers to join my small and established client who have a beautiful children's home in a quiet and rural area of Wolverhampton.

The family feel home is very settled with 2 young people at present and the home will have a maximum of 3 young people only when the correct match is found.

With the support of an experienced nurturing home manager and experienced responsible individual you will be part of a happy team.

They are a growing company, opening their next home in 2024 so you will be supported with a career personal development plan to develop your career in the children's residential sector.

**The Children’s Residential Support Worker Role**:

- You will become part of a small, caring team supporting up to 3 young people with emotional and behavioural disorders.
- Your role will be diverse and shift based and will include up to 9 overnight sleep-ins per month.
- Taking the children on activities
- Liaising with families and professionals to ensure the best possible care is being provided and carried out
- Taking a proactive approach in supporting the children with attending and engaging in their education.
- To make and maintain accurate records of the child’s day, including any incidents that may occur.
- Carry out general housekeeping duties, including cooking, cleaning, and completing health and safety checks
- Comply with GDPR and Health and Safety regulations
- Overseeing petty cash and medication on your shift

The role of Children's Residential Support Worker is a very rewarding one

**To Apply**:

- Driving Licence - **essential**:

- Experience in a residential children’s service or childcare/SEN setting is **essential.**:

- Level 3 or Level 4 children's residential qualification enrolled on or completed - **preferable but not essential**:

- Resilience, self-motivation and the passion to engage with active young people
- Be able to work 2 days on 4 days off shift pattern with a sleep in between (Rota pattern given in advance.
