**Job Purpose and Summary**

Canon are looking for a passionate User Experience and Optimisation Specialist responsible for designing, delivering, and managing governance of key user journeys/experiences across all digital channels.
You will join a talented team of digital specialists and play a key role in developing and promoting user experience principles derived from best practice, theory & user research.
You will conduct user research, A/B testing, usability testing and QA/acceptance testing from a user experience perspective, in order to deliver a user centric design approach and optimize conversion on our digital channels.

In addition to a salary of between £39,000 - £46,000 you'll be eligible for a performance-based bonus of 10%. **What we ask**

As a key member of our UX team you will:

- Execute the delivery of key UX projects to support the strategic development and continuous improvement of Canon Europe’s web estate.
- Be responsible for the governance of ensuring a consistent/coherent user experience across our digital channels, including E-Commerce, Social Media and Mobile.
- Execute optimisation tests and processes that support improved journeys & conversion.
- Educate and empower our digital community, digital and creative agencies to create consistently engaging experiences for our users through the sharing and promotion of Canon Europe’s Design Guidelines & Experience Principles. Manage the evolution of ourdesign guidelines, usability & accessibility guidelines & experience principles for web, mobile & other digital channels, so that they reflect our Brand Vision & Digital Strategy.
- Work with the Customer Experience teams in our Business Units to translate the desired customer experience blueprint into the optimum user experience and journeys across our web estate.
- Optimise user journeys across our web estate through continuous improvement of navigation and structure, functionality and design and content.
- Work closely with other members of the Web Presence Team to help inform digital strategy and projects with user-centered research, insights and user journey mapping.
- Work closely with our Analytics, Optimisation and Search Specialists, as well as digital teams e.g. Digital Services and eCommerce, to identify opportunities for UX enhancements and deliver improvements on our web estate.

**You will need**

As UX and Optimisation Specialist you have:

- Previous experience in a User Experience role
- Strong understanding of UX, IA and UI principles & best practice
- Understanding and experience of wireframing/prototyping tools is desirable
- Experience in content targeting and testing methodologies (eg. A/B and multivariate testing)
- Some experience in search and analytics preferred
