Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate individual to join our cafe team as a cook. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with meal preparation and ensuring food safety in our kitchen. If you have a culinary background and enjoy working in a fast-paced restaurant environment, we would love to hear from you.

Our drop zone cafe provides a breakfast through to lunch service. You will be preparing both hot and cold dishes, working both alone and with other members of the cafe team. This role is part time and main working hours will be over a weekend. Additional hours/days can be requested.

**Duties**:

- Preparation and serving of beverages and snacks including breakfast items, sandwiches, burgers etc.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations

What we are looking for?
- Must have previous experience in a similar catering role. Ideally with a Food Safety Level 2 or above. You must be able to manage a busy service as well as managing assistance when required.
- We are looking for a self motivated, proactive and organised individual who is able to work well within a team also.
- Due to our rural location and no nearby transport links, we are ideally looking for someone with a full UK driving licence and their own transport.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 16 per week

Schedule:

- Every weekend

**Experience**:

- Chef: 1 year (preferred)
- Cooking: 1 year (preferred)
