LHH is pleased to to be working with an exciting creative agency based in East Sussex who are looking for an interim Financial Accountant.

**Position Overview**:
As Financial Accountant you will assist the Finance Director, Finance Manager & Head of Project Finance with a variety of Accounting duties, supporting all Company business objectives and service delivery.

You will also prepare the monthly payroll, to ensure records of new starters and leavers are correct. To manage all aspects of payroll function, advising on payments for HMRC, pensions, P11D, and all other reasonable tasks associated with payroll.

**Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities**:
**Finance**
- Group Cashflow and Treasury management and forecasting
- To assist the Finance Manager with the preparation and review of monthly group financial statements and associated reports for group reporting
- Providing monthly P & L reports to Business units and Stakeholders with commentary and variance analysis.
- To assist the Head of Project Finance with preparation of monthly WIP and project analysis plus various other ad hoc tasks as required.
- Assist in the preparation of Budgets and Forecasting
- Preparation of quarterly VAT
- Assisting with preparation of overseas entity Accounts

**Payroll**
- Processing Company Payroll on a monthly basis
- Making sure all new starters and leavers are treated correctly
- Making sure any payroll adjustments are properly recorded.
- Record keeping and online returns to HMRC.
- Monthly PSA records including annual reports and filing
- Annual P11d expenses and benefits returns.
- Calculating accounts journals in respect of monthly payroll.
- Managing the Auto enrolment pension scheme.
- Working closely with the Finance Manager to ensure all payroll liabilities are paid on a timely basis and compliance regulations are met.

**Skills and Experience**:
**Essential**:

- Qualified Accountant, post qualification experience ACCA, CIMA or similar)
- Successful track record of finance experience in industry desirable
- Proven record of meeting tight deadlines with Incredible attention to detail.
- Previously worked in a fast-paced environment
- Team player and good communicator (verbal and written)
- Proficient in MS Office (advanced Excel particularly VLOOKUP and Pivot tables)
- Experience using Payfit payroll & Paprika desirable but not essential
- Incredible attention to detail

The successful Financial Accountant will work closely with the other team members in the Finance team and spend the majority of the time in our office.
