Veterinary Receptionist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service. Your main responsibilities will include greeting clients, scheduling appointments, and assisting with administrative tasks. About us:
We are a 3 vet, independent, small animal practice in Altrincham, looking for a part time receptionist to join our small, friendly team. Come and join our Tier 2 RCVS accreditated practice working alongside our other receptionists, qualified nurses and support staff.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet clients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct calls to the appropriate staff member
- Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar
- Check-in patients and update their records in the system
- Collect payments for services rendered
- Assist with filing, data entry, and other administrative tasks as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal-related environment is preferred but not essential as full training will be given
- Familiarity with veterinary terminology and procedures is a plus
- Proficiency in using veterinary software systems is an advantage
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

We are looking for 20-30 weekday hours for a varied shift pattern, plus 1 in 3 Saturday morings. The role

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From £12.12 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
