Metal Finisher

We have a fantastic new vacancy for an experienced Metal Finisher to join an innovative and busy manufacturing team within a purpose-built factory based in the Hayle area.

The position would suit an active person as there is a physical element to the blasting process.

**Main tasks**:

- Aqua blasting stainless steel components in a blast cabinet or glove box. (The blasting process is water-based and is therefore not dusty)
- TIG brush etching and cleaning of stainless-steel components.

**Key skills required**:

- High attention to detail in the finishing of components.
- Ability to listen and learn about new job tasks.
- Ability to perform consistently and to deadlines with the right attitude.
- Tidy, polite, and professional approach to work.

**Qualifications required**:

- Qualifications in mechanical fields are desirable but not required.
- Job-specific training in our Metal Finishing techniques will be provided by STS, but previous experience in a similar role is required.

- Hours: 40 hour working week, overtime available at times - overtime: 1.5 x hourly rate
