We are looking to recruit 2 highly motivated Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTA) to join our front-door service. As part of our greener future strategies and our commitment to creating a healthy work-life balance, we welcome a conversation with you regarding our remote working options.

You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team including social workers, occupational therapists, and trusted assessors. You will also work with colleagues across all sectors to arrange appropriate support in the community.

The roles sit within our front-door service for Adult Social Care which means you will be the first point of contact for new and existing residents using Adult Social Care services. Primarily, your role will involve carrying out assessments and OTA interventions to enable independence for physically disabled adults and older people who are struggling to manage activities of daily living in their homes.
- Experience and knowledge of recommending minor aids and minor adaptations.
- Ability to complete person centred and proportionate OTA assessments
- Significant experience and/or level 3 trusted assessor training in assessing for and prescribing minor adaptations and equipment.
- Knowledge of medical conditions and the likely impact on the individual, carer and family
- IT literate

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: £18.20-£20.40 per hour
